Adult Faith Development

A six week course is being offered at the Immaculate Conception, Maryhill Road, Glasgow, G20 0AA.  


Three sessions on the nature of Jesus (Christology) and three on the nature of the Church (Ecclesiology).

Who do you say I am?

Tuesday 9 May - Who do you say that I am?  From Transfiguration to Gethsemane

Tuesday, 16 May - The Early Councils of the Church; Nicaea, Constantinople, Chalcedon, Ephesus

Tuesday 23 May - Jesus; Teacher, Preacher, Healer

Tuesday 30 May - The Church - 2000 years of a story!

Tuesday 6 June - the Nature of the Church; Models and Images

Tuesday 13 June - The Church in Vatican II; ad intra and ad extra

Sessions - 7.00 pm until 8.30 pm (including refreshments).  The course runs as a continuous whole, but each session is presented as a stand-alone unit if you can only dip in and out. There is no charge but there will be a chance to make a voluntary donation to defray printing costs.
