The seminar will begin on the Friday evening and end with dinner on the Saturday evening.
An opportunity to reflect on and deepen our understanding of the work of Emmanuel Levinas, a French Jewish philospher whose family perished in the Holocost. He made responsibility for "the other" the foundation of his work. The seminar will explore the various dimensions of the relationship between myself, the other and God and the challenges this poses for ethics and religion.
The seminar will be led by Dr Steve Innes and Dr Margie Tolstoy.
The cost is being subsidised by the Xaverian Missionaries. The reduced rate is £50 for Residential and £25 for Non-residential.
