The Archdiocese of Glasgow
is divided into nine deaneries covering 99 parishes
in the West of Scotland. The City of Glasgow is
the main population centre along with the ancient
town of Dumbarton in the West and the New Town
of Cumbernauld in the East. The Archdiocese extends
to Bearsden and Milngavie in the North and all
the way to Balloch and Garelochhead in the west.
