ANAM CARA
Is a peer led group challenging the isolation and fear of living with a blood borne virus. It shares the philosophy of mutual aid and peer support to encourage a positive approach to living with HIV, AIDS and Hepatitis C.

Anam Cara offers a hand of friendship and support. It looks for ways of offering practical help, in whatever way is needed for individuals to live with a blood borne virus. A grant from the Trust provided resources for this new organisation.

 
BORDERLINE
Is a housing advice advocacy and support centre in London which assists homeless Scots move from crisis to stability. Borderline helps Scots living rough in London to gain hostel places which is the first step off the streets.

The centre also work with clients to return them to Scotland, networking with families, agencies and organisations in Scotland who can offer support. 40% of Borderline's clients come from Glasgow, where only 13% of Scotland's population live.

At the heart of Borderline are the homeless Scots who use the service; their pain and despair their triumphs and delight and most of all their resilience in the face of pressures that would crush most of us who are comfortably housed.
