| Who We Are |
| The Youth Pastoral Team is comprised
of the Principal Youth Chaplain, Father David
Wallace and two Youth Officers - Rachel Romain and Chris Docherty. |

Chris has worked
in diocesan youth ministry since 1995, engaging
in a variety of project work with schools,
parishes and ecumenical contacts.
A native of Glasgow, Chris studied Literature
& Psychology at Strathclyde University
before spending a year as a Jesuit Volunteer
in Liverpool in 1994-5.
Alongside his ongoing work, he has completed
a postgraduate certificate in Youth &
Community Studies from St Martin’s
College, Lancaster, and a Masters in Pastoral
Studies from Loyola University in New Orleans.

Rachel is originally from the Diocese of Brentwood.
She studied philosophy and theology before a spell teaching RE and then working at a Diocesan youth retreat centre.
From 2006 till 2008 she lived in Belgium and ate far too much chocolate!
Her interests include playing trumpet and guitar, but not at the same time.

Fr David was ordained priest for the
Archdiocese of Glasgow in 1999.
He was assistant priest at St Patrick's,
Dumbarton, before moving to Christ the King
in Kingspark and chaplain to Holyrood Secondary
school in 2000.
Fr David was appointed
as Principal Youth Chaplain for the Archdiocese
in August 2006 and is part of the Youth
Pastoral Team.
